James Soltis, APN

James Soltis is an Adult & Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who specializes in metabolic medicine. James has been practicing medicine as a hospitalist Overlook Medical Center and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerset, NJ for the better part of the last decade.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ & subsequently earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry in Newark, NJ, with duel post-master’s certificates in Adult & Gerontologic Acute Care. He graduated with honors and was a recipient of the Outstanding Clinical Excellence Award. James holds two national certifications with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also an adjunct professor of advanced practice nursing at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey.

James’ unique combination of strong nursing skills, clinical experience, and education provide a strong foundation for the approach taken with his patients. James understands that each patient is unique and has specific health care needs. By taking an active role in each patient’s care and treatment, James helps foster better outcomes and enhances patient satisfaction.
